Professor Hongjian Shi has been doing research in medical imaging and image processing. He taught at University of Wisconsin and Nanjing University of Science and Technology, worked at Danaher Dental Imaging Technologies, Edda Technology etc. He innovated several new products. Professor Hongjian Shi has several international known patents and published about 30 papers in international journals and conferences. From 2017, He has been a research professor at Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology. His current research is in image and video processing, and CT image diagnosis and 3D modeling.
